Dutchess County Fair Talent Search RULES: Note: For a complete list of rules, please download the rules from the Application Page To enter the Talent Search and/or Hudson Valley Idol, print out an application and mail it to the address listed on the application. All applications must be postmarked NO LATER THAN AUGUST 1ST. Please read the rules for both contest before entering. You can be in a total of 3 distinct acts with only 1 solo. You cannot compete against yourself. Each category has Junior and Senior Divisions. For more information on age limits and how divisions are determined for groups, please see the complete official rules on the Application page of this website. To be eligible for the NY State Fair Talent Competition, you must place in the top 25 of finalists and you cannot compete at any other County Fair Talent Search. Raphael's Talent Searchis primarily for Dutchess County Residents and for those contestants in surrounding counties who do not have a talent contest offered in their county. Due to setup/teardown time, no rock bands are permitted. Due to safety reasons, no pyrotechnics are allowed. Anyone failing to complete all information on his/her application may be disqualified.
